Love the way y'all tell the history and stories of Angola. I remember as a kid going to the rodeo and have continued going adult taking my children. My father in law is in a prison ministry that visits the prison. Angola and it's history has always been interesting to me. Thanks for y'all's perspective and personal touches.

Another winning podcast from the #1 true crime podcaster

I've been a fan of award-winning podcaster Woody Overton for a few years now. I've listened to every episode of his podcast Real Life Real Crime. In several episodes, Woody mentions Angola. I tried looking online for anecdotal stories about Angola but couldn't find anything more than institutional facts. This podcast is what I've been waiting for! I love that his producer, Jim Chapman, is a cohost. Jim adds another level of information. Woody brings his law and order background and Jim brings the historical context.
