Sooo informative and entertaining!!

Growing up in south Louisiana, I have always heard about Angola. The amazing talent of storytelling oozes from these men!!! You feel like you are there.

In 2009 my stepfather was sentenced to life at Angola for the aggravated rape of my sister and me. I remember the ADA saying “Being there… You’ll never have to worry about him again.” Now I can fully comprehend what he meant! I especially love hearing the history of Angola. Woody and Jim tell it so well!!

Fire Podcast

I found this podcast after visiting Angola while in a police academy. Everything is spot on. Woody and Jim are knowledgeable, humorous, and deliver a great show. 10/10 do recommend!

This is such a great podcast. The storytelling is top notch and riveting. I’ve never been there, but it activates the senses and makes you feel like you’re right there “inside the wire.”

Great podcast. Very informative. If you watch on You Tube, pictures are put up so you can see what being described. Woody and Jim do an awesome job and Jim is great at researching the topic so you get a lot of detail.
