Rocky Ali Beamon—better known as the “Vigalante Killer.” Already serving a life sentence for the 2005 kidnapping, robbery, and brutal drowning murder of Deborah Lacey (carried out with his girlfriend Karen Wilkins to fuel a crack cocaine binge), Beamon wasn’t done killing.
Behind the walls of Florida state prisons, he became a self-appointed vigilante, hunting down convicted sex offenders with cold, calculated precision. In 2012, at Apalachee Correctional Institution, he stalked fellow inmate Bruce Hunsicker—a registered sex offender—before savagely stabbing and strangling him in the shower.
Five years later, at Santa Rosa Correctional Institution, he murdered his own cellmate, Nicholas Anderson, in a gruesome attack involving strangulation and a homemade shank. Beamon showed zero remorse. He openly boasted about his crimes, declared his hatred for “monsters,” and even begged judges to send him to death row—vowing he would keep killing if they didn’t. He ultimately received two death sentences on top of his life term.

H a wall Street line, shackle change, Oh we someome

00:00:23.440 --> 00:00:31.920
gird it's calling my name. There is no mercy and

3
00:00:32.079 --> 00:00:39.799
it's been a tentery juice as the huge stream game wrangle,

4
00:00:40.119 --> 00:00:40.840
the three.

5
00:00:42.719 --> 00:00:47.920
Com in be by me to die.

6
00:00:49.479 --> 00:00:54.719
Inside these walls, inside the wild.

7
00:00:56.240 --> 00:01:32.840
And when no girls, I Hey, welcome back to the show.

8
00:01:32.959 --> 00:01:36.120
And I'm doing something today that initially I had not

9
00:01:36.319 --> 00:01:39.319
planned on doing when I started the Fifty Shades of

10
00:01:39.359 --> 00:01:43.640
Evil series. Now, as I was researching the next Evil

11
00:01:43.760 --> 00:01:47.640
inmate to bring you, I came across an individual with

12
00:01:47.840 --> 00:01:52.439
such a unique story that I absolutely had to cover it. Now,

13
00:01:52.480 --> 00:01:55.640
the problem with this was the inmate is from the

14
00:01:55.680 --> 00:01:59.840
state of Florida, and I've already covered an episode on

15
00:02:00.159 --> 00:02:03.159
the state of Florida. Of course, the entire premise of

16
00:02:03.200 --> 00:02:06.480
this series, Fifty Shades of Evil, is to cover one

17
00:02:06.640 --> 00:02:11.120
inmate from each individual state. But when I was researching

18
00:02:11.199 --> 00:02:15.039
this guy that I stumbled across, I'm telling you, his

19
00:02:15.199 --> 00:02:18.039
story will get you thinking, and I'm like, I just

20
00:02:18.080 --> 00:02:20.319
got to bring this one to the people. So this

21
00:02:20.479 --> 00:02:24.000
story centers around a man by the name of Rocky

22
00:02:24.240 --> 00:02:28.560
Bemon now Rocky, who was already serving life for drowning

23
00:02:28.599 --> 00:02:33.000
a woman during a drug robbery, became notorious in the

24
00:02:33.039 --> 00:02:36.680
Florida prison system. And he became notorious because he was

25
00:02:36.759 --> 00:02:41.280
a pedophile vigilante, at least that was his words for it.

26
00:02:41.719 --> 00:02:45.919
While being incarcerated, he had actually hunted down and killed

27
00:02:46.080 --> 00:02:51.240
two pedophiles in two separate instances behind bars, giving his

28
00:02:51.439 --> 00:02:55.439
version of prison justice to these inmates. Now, was he

29
00:02:55.759 --> 00:03:00.159
justified or was he just another cold blooded killer? That's

30
00:03:00.199 --> 00:03:03.240
what we're going to discuss today. And we're going to

31
00:03:03.319 --> 00:03:06.599
start off in Naples, Florida, And I'm going to take

32
00:03:06.599 --> 00:03:09.680
you in nineteen seventy seven because that was the year

33
00:03:10.080 --> 00:03:14.840
Rocky was born. Now, his father was reportedly an alcoholic

34
00:03:15.039 --> 00:03:19.080
and according to reports, had never even met Rocky as

35
00:03:19.120 --> 00:03:23.199
a child. His mother, shortly after having Rocky would get

36
00:03:23.240 --> 00:03:27.080
involved with a man who would become Rocky's stepfather. Now

37
00:03:27.080 --> 00:03:31.360
at a very young age, his mother his stepfather in Rocky,

38
00:03:31.479 --> 00:03:35.759
they would move to Lake Placid, Florida. Now throughout his

39
00:03:35.919 --> 00:03:40.159
childhood years, Courts would later describe the environment that he

40
00:03:40.280 --> 00:03:44.159
grew up in to be dysfunctional to say the least.

41
00:03:44.439 --> 00:03:47.479
Some people would even say later in life that he

42
00:03:47.599 --> 00:03:51.199
was molested during his childhood, Though he would never say

43
00:03:51.439 --> 00:03:55.120
by whom. It would not take long, however, around nineteen

44
00:03:55.159 --> 00:03:59.120
eighty nine that Rocky would already have his own issues

45
00:03:59.199 --> 00:04:03.439
with alcohol at the young age of just twelve years old, y'all. So,

46
00:04:03.560 --> 00:04:08.240
of course, this led to experimenting with harder drugs, and

47
00:04:08.319 --> 00:04:11.719
by the age of fourteen, he had already moved to

48
00:04:12.000 --> 00:04:16.120
crack and meth as his two drugs of choice. He

49
00:04:16.240 --> 00:04:21.040
also used marijuana in addition to alcohol, so by sixteen,

50
00:04:21.480 --> 00:04:25.720
this kid was a full blown drug addict. Now people

51
00:04:25.800 --> 00:04:29.240
later on would their rise If he was indeed sexually

52
00:04:29.279 --> 00:04:33.439
abused as a child, this downward spiral into drugs and

53
00:04:33.519 --> 00:04:36.720
alcohol could have been pretty much predicted. They would be

54
00:04:37.120 --> 00:04:41.079
looked at as temporary means of escape from reality. Right,

55
00:04:41.240 --> 00:04:45.360
But keep in mind, this kid's sixteen. His brain is

56
00:04:45.480 --> 00:04:48.959
not even close to being fully developed yet, and he

57
00:04:49.120 --> 00:04:53.199
is totally frying it with these hard drugs like meth

58
00:04:53.279 --> 00:04:56.560
and crack. So, as you may expect, what comes with

59
00:04:56.680 --> 00:05:00.279
a life like this, well, the criminal aspect, and by

60
00:05:00.319 --> 00:05:04.439
the time he's seventeen, he's already been arrested several times.

61
00:05:05.360 --> 00:05:09.439
He was arrested for thefts, he was arrested for armed burglaries,

62
00:05:09.560 --> 00:05:12.879
and other crimes. And most of these crimes, if not all,

63
00:05:12.959 --> 00:05:17.360
these crimes, were related to his drug addiction. Now, by

64
00:05:17.480 --> 00:05:22.720
nineteen ninety seven, Beaman goes full on in the crime thing.

65
00:05:23.240 --> 00:05:27.639
In the next eight years, he garners convictions for all

66
00:05:27.720 --> 00:05:33.319
kinds of crimes, including battery, thefts, driving under suspension. He

67
00:05:33.399 --> 00:05:38.439
even has some things on his rap sheet regarding alligator poaching.

68
00:05:39.040 --> 00:05:43.319
And you can see this thing escalating these crimes over

69
00:05:43.480 --> 00:05:47.079
time throughout that rap sheet. It's a mile long, and

70
00:05:47.120 --> 00:05:51.519
it started out with these nonviolent offenses and you just

71
00:05:51.639 --> 00:05:55.120
see a progression from there, and by the time he

72
00:05:55.279 --> 00:06:00.519
was in adulthood, he would already have three charge of

73
00:06:00.600 --> 00:06:04.759
domestic violence to go along with all these other convictions

74
00:06:04.800 --> 00:06:07.800
that he had. Now, by the age of twenty seven,

75
00:06:07.920 --> 00:06:11.079
Beaming had been in and out of jail more times

76
00:06:11.160 --> 00:06:14.399
than you can freaking count, and people who knew him

77
00:06:14.439 --> 00:06:17.959
back then they would describe him as well, somewhat of

78
00:06:18.000 --> 00:06:22.199
a dick, just a very self centered guy, really didn't

79
00:06:22.240 --> 00:06:27.360
give a shit, your typical criminal. So despite that, Rocky

80
00:06:27.600 --> 00:06:31.519
does manage somehow to get himself a new girlfriend, and

81
00:06:31.600 --> 00:06:36.319
her name was Karen Wilkins. Now, although Karen was also

82
00:06:36.560 --> 00:06:40.160
struggling with drugs. Most people who knew her would describe

83
00:06:40.199 --> 00:06:44.519
her as a generally good person. Although she was twelve

84
00:06:44.600 --> 00:06:47.879
years older than Rocky, she was thirty nine years old

85
00:06:47.920 --> 00:06:50.959
when they started dating, and he would have a lot

86
00:06:51.000 --> 00:06:55.800
of influence over Karen Wilkins, according to people that knew her.

87
00:06:56.040 --> 00:07:00.079
So on February six of two thousand and five, a

88
00:07:00.120 --> 00:07:02.759
forty seven year old female that I'm gonna tell you

89
00:07:02.800 --> 00:07:06.959
about by the name of Deborah Lacey would cross pass

90
00:07:07.079 --> 00:07:10.720
with these two. She's driving down the road, and Deborah

91
00:07:10.839 --> 00:07:14.600
was incidentally described as a very good person. She was

92
00:07:14.639 --> 00:07:17.319
a posed to worker, she had a child, but not

93
00:07:17.439 --> 00:07:20.399
unlike a lot of folks out there, she also had

94
00:07:20.519 --> 00:07:24.480
issues that she was struggling with as it related to drugs.

95
00:07:25.120 --> 00:07:28.680
So as she's driving down this road, she sees Rocky

96
00:07:28.839 --> 00:07:32.560
and his girlfriend Karen, and they're sitting outside of their home,

97
00:07:32.800 --> 00:07:36.639
just sitting in lawn chairs. She stops in that driveway

98
00:07:36.920 --> 00:07:40.079
and she asked them if they had something to drink,

99
00:07:40.199 --> 00:07:43.480
because she had some pills she needed to take. I

100
00:07:43.480 --> 00:07:46.680
would opine here that she was just wanting to do

101
00:07:46.800 --> 00:07:51.000
drugs with someone. Maybe she saw Rocky and she thought

102
00:07:51.680 --> 00:07:54.959
he looks like he's someone that has done some drugs

103
00:07:55.040 --> 00:07:59.279
or experiments with drugs, and that's why she stopped. I

104
00:07:59.319 --> 00:08:03.040
don't know, but the pills. It seems like to me,

105
00:08:03.199 --> 00:08:05.240
when you ask someone, do you have a glass of

106
00:08:05.240 --> 00:08:08.439
water so I can take some pills, take some drugs,

107
00:08:08.959 --> 00:08:11.959
that seems like a test to see how that person

108
00:08:12.120 --> 00:08:16.160
is going to respond or react to that. But regardless,

109
00:08:16.360 --> 00:08:19.399
it's safe to say that Rocky picked up what she

110
00:08:19.600 --> 00:08:23.519
was putting down, if you will, because he tells her, Hey,

111
00:08:23.639 --> 00:08:26.399
come on, let's go in the house. I have a

112
00:08:26.399 --> 00:08:28.120
beer in there, and we can have a beer, and

113
00:08:28.160 --> 00:08:31.079
you can swallow whatever pills you're taking and we can

114
00:08:31.160 --> 00:08:35.840
just shoot the shit now during your conversation over beer

115
00:08:36.080 --> 00:08:41.120
inside of that home. Somehow that conversation leads to her

116
00:08:41.399 --> 00:08:44.440
job at the post office and how she gets paid

117
00:08:44.519 --> 00:08:47.919
really good. Now, what this lady did not realize is

118
00:08:47.960 --> 00:08:51.759
that she was dealing with a very criminal mind here.

119
00:08:52.039 --> 00:08:56.360
And while she's talking about her money, all Rocky can

120
00:08:56.440 --> 00:08:59.200
hear is how he needs to get his hands on

121
00:08:59.320 --> 00:09:03.600
her money to buy drugs. So at some point, Deborah

122
00:09:03.679 --> 00:09:07.919
mentions she wanted to do some crack in Rocky mentions

123
00:09:08.000 --> 00:09:11.519
he has a supplier for that, and at that point

124
00:09:11.559 --> 00:09:15.360
they all pile into Deborah's vehicle and they go to

125
00:09:15.440 --> 00:09:19.320
this dealer to make a buye for some crack. So

126
00:09:19.360 --> 00:09:23.799
they do that, and Karen and Rocky and Deborah all

127
00:09:23.840 --> 00:09:27.200
get back in the car, and Rocky says, Hey, I

128
00:09:27.240 --> 00:09:30.519
know a great place that we can go smoke this crack.

129
00:09:30.879 --> 00:09:34.799
We don't have to worry about any police catching us.

130
00:09:34.919 --> 00:09:38.799
We won't get caught. And the three head to a

131
00:09:39.200 --> 00:09:43.240
very isolated wooded area and it's kind of tranquil. It's

132
00:09:43.240 --> 00:09:47.919
got like a deep flurry of woods and you walk

133
00:09:48.039 --> 00:09:50.679
through that and there's a pond in the middle of

134
00:09:50.720 --> 00:09:54.759
those woods. So they start smoking this crack when they're

135
00:09:54.799 --> 00:10:00.840
actually inside the woods. Aspect of this forest will. At

136
00:10:00.919 --> 00:10:05.440
some point during this Rocky decides in his mind that

137
00:10:05.519 --> 00:10:11.559
he wants to not only rob Deborah, but kill Deborah Lacy.

138
00:10:12.159 --> 00:10:16.240
So Rocky grabs a nearby piece of heavy wood that

139
00:10:16.320 --> 00:10:19.720
had fallen from a tree, and he hits Deborah across

140
00:10:19.799 --> 00:10:24.720
the head with this big piece of wood. She falls down.

141
00:10:24.799 --> 00:10:27.759
She's not completely knocked out, but she's out of it.

142
00:10:28.440 --> 00:10:32.240
And then he pulls the drawstring out of his shorts

143
00:10:32.799 --> 00:10:37.519
and he ties her hands together with the drawstring of

144
00:10:37.600 --> 00:10:41.519
these shorts. He then takes a rag and stuffs it

145
00:10:41.600 --> 00:10:44.720
in her mouth, and somehow he had gotten a piece

146
00:10:44.759 --> 00:10:47.799
of duct tape. It's not really clear where he got

147
00:10:47.840 --> 00:10:51.360
that from, maybe from the vehicle, but he duct tapes

148
00:10:51.440 --> 00:10:55.159
her mouth shut so she can't scream with that rag

149
00:10:55.240 --> 00:11:01.679
in her mouth. Then, with assistance from his girlfriend, he

150
00:11:01.919 --> 00:11:06.279
walks Deborah approximately one hundred and fifty yards to that

151
00:11:06.480 --> 00:11:10.679
pond in the center of that wooded clearing, and he

152
00:11:10.919 --> 00:11:15.200
drags her to the edge. He grabs Deborah by the

153
00:11:15.320 --> 00:11:20.519
back of the neck and he forces her head underwater,

154
00:11:21.080 --> 00:11:24.159
and he just holds her there. And you gotta imagine

155
00:11:24.519 --> 00:11:28.879
this lady is just struggling. Man, her head's underwater, she

156
00:11:29.000 --> 00:11:33.200
can't breathe, but he's over He's a big guy, Rocky,

157
00:11:33.320 --> 00:11:36.240
and he easily overpowers her and he just holds her

158
00:11:36.240 --> 00:11:41.320
there is She's struggling until she just absolutely quits moving

159
00:11:41.840 --> 00:11:45.600
and she's dead. So at that point he just leaves

160
00:11:45.600 --> 00:11:50.639
her where she's at, and Rocky and Karen Steel all

161
00:11:50.720 --> 00:11:55.279
the cash out of Deborah's purse, a whole entire thirty

162
00:11:55.320 --> 00:12:00.279
bucks thirty dollars. She got murdered over thirty dollars. They

163
00:12:00.480 --> 00:12:04.840
then steal her vehicle, which was a linking Continental. They

164
00:12:04.919 --> 00:12:08.720
go to their drug dealer or a drug dealer, and

165
00:12:08.759 --> 00:12:13.559
they trade it for two bags of basically four hundred

166
00:12:13.600 --> 00:12:17.240
dollars for each bag of crack, so eight hundred dollars

167
00:12:17.279 --> 00:12:22.519
in crack and thirty bucks cash to kill this woman,

168
00:12:23.360 --> 00:12:27.840
absolutely crazy. They then smoke up all that crack and

169
00:12:27.879 --> 00:12:33.120
they go about life as though nothing had ever happened. Now,

170
00:12:33.759 --> 00:12:38.639
fast forward seven days later, Deborah Lacy had a sister,

171
00:12:39.200 --> 00:12:42.960
and this sister realizes, wow, man, it's been a minute

172
00:12:43.480 --> 00:12:46.759
since I've heard from Deborah. She tries to reach her

173
00:12:46.960 --> 00:12:51.200
to no avail, and she gets really worried really fast.

174
00:12:51.320 --> 00:12:54.440
It just has never been that hard to reach Deborah.

175
00:12:54.679 --> 00:12:58.000
So she reaches out to the police and she reports

176
00:12:58.320 --> 00:13:03.759
Deborah missing. So police they decide to go patrol her neighborhood,

177
00:13:04.240 --> 00:13:09.799
and while doing so, they see a vehicle they deemed suspicious.

178
00:13:09.840 --> 00:13:12.679
It had a busted out back window, and then upon

179
00:13:13.200 --> 00:13:18.000
further investigation, they realize that's the same looks like the

180
00:13:18.080 --> 00:13:22.120
same vehicle that Deborah drove. Now this vehicle's traveling down

181
00:13:22.159 --> 00:13:26.759
the road it isn't part So they hit the lights

182
00:13:26.759 --> 00:13:30.039
and sirens, and they pull this vehicle over and they

183
00:13:30.080 --> 00:13:33.799
haul out the three occupants and they say, hey, this

184
00:13:34.559 --> 00:13:37.639
vehicle is involved in a disappearance and we need to

185
00:13:37.720 --> 00:13:40.240
question you at headquarters. And they haul these guys in.

186
00:13:40.720 --> 00:13:43.759
And when they're talking to these guys at headquarters, they

187
00:13:43.960 --> 00:13:47.519
learn because of these guys tell them, hey, this ain't

188
00:13:47.559 --> 00:13:49.840
our vehicle. We don't know who owned this vehicle. We

189
00:13:50.000 --> 00:13:54.039
traded it for crack cocaine. And they also disclose that

190
00:13:54.039 --> 00:13:59.240
that crack cocaine was traded to Rocky Beaman. So police

191
00:13:59.320 --> 00:14:02.120
they start looking for Rocky to see if they can

192
00:14:02.240 --> 00:14:06.679
locate Deborah Lacy. They have no idea that she's already dead.

193
00:14:06.759 --> 00:14:10.159
They think maybe she's on a drug bench with Rocky. Now,

194
00:14:10.200 --> 00:14:14.639
around this time, detectives receive a call and it's a

195
00:14:14.679 --> 00:14:19.120
sad call and it's regarding a body found at a pond,

196
00:14:19.919 --> 00:14:23.879
which of course turned out to be Deborah Lacy, and

197
00:14:23.960 --> 00:14:27.320
they were able to confirm that by a fingerprints, she

198
00:14:27.440 --> 00:14:31.799
had been in that pond by this time for ten days. Now,

199
00:14:31.840 --> 00:14:36.440
shortly after, detectives did manage to determine where Rocky lived,

200
00:14:36.559 --> 00:14:39.399
which he lived with his girlfriend. That's why it took

201
00:14:39.440 --> 00:14:41.960
him a little while to locate him, but they figure

202
00:14:42.000 --> 00:14:45.080
that out. They go over there, they knock on the door,

203
00:14:45.559 --> 00:14:50.879
and Karen Wilkins, Rocky's girlfriend, answers that door and they say, hey,

204
00:14:51.279 --> 00:14:57.000
is anyone else here, namely Rocky, and she says yes,

205
00:14:57.200 --> 00:15:00.600
and she calls out to Rocky and he comes to

206
00:15:00.679 --> 00:15:04.320
the door. Now, at this point in time, police don't

207
00:15:04.320 --> 00:15:10.120
have enough evidence to arrest or charge Rocky in Deborah's murder,

208
00:15:10.279 --> 00:15:12.799
but they were lucky to discover that he already had

209
00:15:12.799 --> 00:15:15.039
a warrant out for his arrest, so they could at

210
00:15:15.120 --> 00:15:18.360
least haul him in on that outstanding warrant. It was

211
00:15:18.399 --> 00:15:22.240
something minor, but they weren't able to do that, and

212
00:15:22.559 --> 00:15:27.279
that would enable police to question both Rocky and his girlfriend.

213
00:15:27.360 --> 00:15:33.000
And initially they questioned them together and they asked this couple, hey,

214
00:15:33.200 --> 00:15:37.960
how do you know Deborah? And initially when they were together,

215
00:15:38.120 --> 00:15:41.960
during this questioning, both of them deniedhood Deborah Deborah who

216
00:15:42.000 --> 00:15:44.879
we don't know a Deborah den not even knowing her.

217
00:15:45.240 --> 00:15:48.519
But police did what police do, and they know, hey,

218
00:15:48.879 --> 00:15:51.360
usually when we separate people, all of a sudden the

219
00:15:51.399 --> 00:15:55.720
truth comes out. And they separated Rocky and his girlfriend.

220
00:15:56.360 --> 00:15:59.799
And when the couple was separated. Both of them started

221
00:16:00.639 --> 00:16:05.200
like canaries, I mean individually to police. They would tell

222
00:16:05.399 --> 00:16:09.799
the entire story, and Rocky especially just lays it all

223
00:16:09.840 --> 00:16:12.720
out there, everything I just told you about this crime.

224
00:16:13.039 --> 00:16:16.399
Rocky confessed to himself. Now you can find out later

225
00:16:16.440 --> 00:16:18.320
there was a little bit of a deal put in

226
00:16:18.399 --> 00:16:21.120
place for him to put that on record, if you will.

227
00:16:21.399 --> 00:16:26.000
But at this point, the confessions come out and everyone

228
00:16:26.080 --> 00:16:30.639
gets arrested. Now Rocky is charged with first degree murder,

229
00:16:31.080 --> 00:16:36.639
and Karen Wilkins, his girlfriend, was charged with second degree murder. Now,

230
00:16:36.840 --> 00:16:40.279
his confession, as I said, did come at a cost,

231
00:16:40.399 --> 00:16:44.399
and that was the death penalty. So in exchange for

232
00:16:44.519 --> 00:16:49.399
these confessions, the death penalty was pulled completely off the table.

233
00:16:49.440 --> 00:16:51.679
They basically told him, if you confess to it, we

234
00:16:51.759 --> 00:16:56.200
won't go for the death penalty. He agreed, and eventually

235
00:16:56.360 --> 00:17:01.559
in court he pleaded to life in prison. Now Karen Wilkins,

236
00:17:01.639 --> 00:17:06.000
to her part, was sentenced to thirty years in prison

237
00:17:06.279 --> 00:17:10.359
and then ten years of probation. So for Rocky it's

238
00:17:10.400 --> 00:17:15.279
off to various prisons. But in March of twenty twelve,

239
00:17:15.640 --> 00:17:20.160
he ends up at Appalachi Correctional Institute and this is

240
00:17:20.200 --> 00:17:25.519
in Jackson County, Florida. Now, this particular prison, it's a

241
00:17:25.599 --> 00:17:30.000
rough one. It's located in the Panhandle of Florida. It

242
00:17:30.119 --> 00:17:33.279
was built in nineteen forty nine, and it's home to

243
00:17:33.680 --> 00:17:38.039
roughly thirteen hundred inmates in Florida. Now, that particular prison

244
00:17:38.119 --> 00:17:42.119
also has everything from max security to medium security to

245
00:17:42.240 --> 00:17:47.279
even minimum custody. And it's while in this particular prison

246
00:17:47.480 --> 00:17:51.720
that Rocky Beeman he sets his sights on a forty

247
00:17:51.720 --> 00:17:55.880
four year old cellmate by the name of Bruce Hunsicker.

248
00:17:56.039 --> 00:18:02.720
Now Bruce was in prison serving six life sentences. Bad dude, right, well,

249
00:18:02.839 --> 00:18:06.559
even worse than a bad dude. These six life sentences

250
00:18:06.759 --> 00:18:11.640
were for raping a ten year old girl at knife point.

251
00:18:11.920 --> 00:18:14.559
Just some really sick shit. Now, when you get a

252
00:18:14.599 --> 00:18:18.119
prison for something like that, the last thing that you're

253
00:18:18.200 --> 00:18:21.720
gonna want to do is tell anyone about it. Even

254
00:18:21.759 --> 00:18:25.880
the hardest convicts in prison don't like a freaking pedophile,

255
00:18:26.240 --> 00:18:29.759
and you will, for sure at one point get killed

256
00:18:30.000 --> 00:18:33.079
over something like that. And that's big time props in

257
00:18:33.160 --> 00:18:37.000
prison when you kill a pedophile. So this guy, he's

258
00:18:37.279 --> 00:18:40.640
obviously going to keep this to himself, No tell him

259
00:18:40.680 --> 00:18:43.079
what he was telling people. He was actually in prison

260
00:18:43.160 --> 00:18:47.559
for and his first few months, even his salemate Rocky,

261
00:18:48.039 --> 00:18:51.759
he didn't know what this guy was actually in prison for. Now.

262
00:18:51.799 --> 00:18:55.680
Initially them too, they seemed to get along, but that

263
00:18:55.799 --> 00:18:58.599
relationship would start to kind of falter a little bit

264
00:18:59.200 --> 00:19:04.000
because Druce borrewed some coffee from Rocky and he didn't

265
00:19:04.119 --> 00:19:09.079
return that coffee, which, look, that is a big time

266
00:19:10.119 --> 00:19:14.519
slapping the face in prison. You borrow something, you better

267
00:19:14.599 --> 00:19:18.200
return it. Otherwise it's looked at as stealing from another

268
00:19:18.240 --> 00:19:20.880
inmate and you will get killed every shit like that.

269
00:19:21.559 --> 00:19:25.119
So shortly after that, to add insult to injury for

270
00:19:25.200 --> 00:19:29.839
this guy, Rocky learns about Bruce's charges. And I'm not

271
00:19:30.000 --> 00:19:34.200
sure exactly how he learned of those charges. It could

272
00:19:34.279 --> 00:19:37.839
have and it was likely that Rocky came across some

273
00:19:37.920 --> 00:19:42.400
of Bruce's legal paperwork, but one thing was for sure.

274
00:19:42.799 --> 00:19:45.880
He was pissed off about it. And it's a problem

275
00:19:46.039 --> 00:19:50.079
also when you're this dude's cell mate, because if the

276
00:19:50.119 --> 00:19:53.640
other inmates discover, hey, Bruce over here is a pedophile

277
00:19:54.279 --> 00:19:57.000
and you're the sealmate of Bruce and it seems like

278
00:19:57.119 --> 00:20:00.640
you two get along, they're going to wrap you up

279
00:20:01.160 --> 00:20:04.200
into that as well and consider you a pedophile, no

280
00:20:04.319 --> 00:20:08.480
doubt about it. So Rocky decides right then and there,

281
00:20:08.680 --> 00:20:11.839
as soon as he learns about this, that hey, I

282
00:20:11.920 --> 00:20:15.759
got to kill this guy. And Rocky wasn't a total idiot.

283
00:20:16.079 --> 00:20:20.079
He actually was a planner type of guy, and he

284
00:20:20.200 --> 00:20:24.839
really digs into planning on how to kill this pedophile,

285
00:20:25.200 --> 00:20:29.640
and he starts studying Bruce's patterns, and one thing that

286
00:20:29.759 --> 00:20:33.839
he notices in the patterns of Bruce is that every

287
00:20:33.920 --> 00:20:37.960
day at four o'clock, this dude takes a shower. So

288
00:20:38.279 --> 00:20:44.000
Rocky figures that out and he fashions a fourteen inch shank.

289
00:20:44.200 --> 00:20:46.319
And the way he made this shank, it was out

290
00:20:46.319 --> 00:20:49.640
of a piece of metal fence, and he just sharpened

291
00:20:49.680 --> 00:20:53.079
that sucker down by using concrete to where it's basically

292
00:20:53.079 --> 00:20:58.559
a fourteen inch dagger. And five days after learning about

293
00:20:58.720 --> 00:21:03.480
Bruce huntson Anker's crime. He approaches him in the shower

294
00:21:04.000 --> 00:21:07.880
and he has that fourteen inch shank and he attacks

295
00:21:07.960 --> 00:21:11.880
him from behind. And when I say attacks him, he

296
00:21:12.160 --> 00:21:17.400
stabbed him eighty times, killed him right there on the spot,

297
00:21:17.680 --> 00:21:22.720
blood everywhere. So after that, Rocky takes a shower to

298
00:21:22.839 --> 00:21:25.759
clean all of that blood off of him and his

299
00:21:26.200 --> 00:21:29.599
shorts that he had on were so stained. He just

300
00:21:29.839 --> 00:21:35.079
flushes those shorts and incidentally the shank down the toilet.

301
00:21:35.440 --> 00:21:38.200
Then he goes back to his cell as if nothing

302
00:21:38.200 --> 00:21:42.960
ever happened. A few hours later, correctional officers would discover

303
00:21:43.200 --> 00:21:47.839
the body of Hunsicker in that shower after he missed

304
00:21:47.960 --> 00:21:52.480
a count. So there was no evidence of this murder,

305
00:21:52.759 --> 00:21:56.799
even though they found the shank in the shorts. Inside

306
00:21:57.160 --> 00:22:02.559
the septic system of this present, there's so much DNA

307
00:22:02.640 --> 00:22:04.640
in there. Think about it. This is getting flushed down

308
00:22:04.640 --> 00:22:08.799
a toilet. You can't tie that dan anybody, but Rocky

309
00:22:09.240 --> 00:22:12.279
was his seal mate, and so that's pretty much the

310
00:22:12.319 --> 00:22:14.599
first person they're going to question anyway. And when they

311
00:22:14.640 --> 00:22:17.839
go in there to question Rocky about his cell mate,

312
00:22:18.920 --> 00:22:22.799
Rocky confesses to everything. He confesses to the whole crime.

313
00:22:22.880 --> 00:22:26.640
He said, look, I have a hatred of child molesters.

314
00:22:26.720 --> 00:22:30.480
I found out this guy has five life sentences for

315
00:22:30.839 --> 00:22:35.680
raping this ten year old girl multiple times, and so yeah,

316
00:22:35.920 --> 00:22:38.480
that drove me to do it, and I'm pretty proud

317
00:22:38.519 --> 00:22:41.000
of it. I put this guy out of his misery.

318
00:22:41.000 --> 00:22:42.720
He took him off the face of the earth, and

319
00:22:42.759 --> 00:22:46.480
I don't feel even bad about it. So he confesses

320
00:22:46.519 --> 00:22:50.759
to all that, and he gets moved almost immediately to

321
00:22:50.920 --> 00:22:54.799
solitary confinement. And he sits in solitary for five years.

322
00:22:54.839 --> 00:22:57.839
So you get out of your cell one hour a day,

323
00:22:58.359 --> 00:23:00.759
you're in that cage the rest of the time, and

324
00:23:00.839 --> 00:23:04.480
you of course don't have Selly's Now, after about five years,

325
00:23:04.559 --> 00:23:07.559
he does get sent to another prison, and that is

326
00:23:07.720 --> 00:23:11.680
known as Santa Rosa Prison. This is in twenty seventeen.

327
00:23:11.880 --> 00:23:15.720
Now at this point, he's thirty nine years old, and

328
00:23:15.920 --> 00:23:19.960
Santa Rosa is a lot newer than the prison he

329
00:23:20.039 --> 00:23:23.720
came from. It was actually built in nineteen ninety six,

330
00:23:24.279 --> 00:23:27.480
and it's also a good bit larger than where he

331
00:23:27.599 --> 00:23:33.240
came from. This particular prison housed three thousand inmates. Now,

332
00:23:33.519 --> 00:23:38.359
while he does get downgraded for some reason from solitary

333
00:23:39.160 --> 00:23:44.440
to maximum security, the only difference that made for Rocky

334
00:23:44.640 --> 00:23:47.839
is that he would be allowed to have a salemate.

335
00:23:48.039 --> 00:23:50.720
At this point, and this is this is pretty crazy.

336
00:23:51.119 --> 00:23:54.960
The winning cell mate in this case was a twenty

337
00:23:55.039 --> 00:23:59.039
seven year old by the name of Nicholas Anderson. And

338
00:23:59.160 --> 00:24:03.359
get this, Nicholas Anderson was serving twenty years in prison

339
00:24:03.480 --> 00:24:08.240
for what do you think you guessed it? Child molestation. Now,

340
00:24:08.680 --> 00:24:12.680
why prison officials thought that will be a good idea

341
00:24:13.559 --> 00:24:17.119
is anyone's guess. Why they would take a guy that

342
00:24:17.240 --> 00:24:21.680
had already killed a cellmate for child molestation and put

343
00:24:21.759 --> 00:24:26.240
him in a cell with someone who's convicted of child molestation.

344
00:24:26.880 --> 00:24:31.119
I don't know. And same situation as before. This guy

345
00:24:31.319 --> 00:24:36.720
he hundred percent ain't gonna tell Rocky why he's in prison. However,

346
00:24:37.079 --> 00:24:41.759
that doesn't stop a rival gang from telling Rocky why

347
00:24:41.799 --> 00:24:46.119
he's in prison. So Rocky hears that he's a child

348
00:24:46.160 --> 00:24:50.039
molester from this rival gang, and he goes back to

349
00:24:50.119 --> 00:24:55.160
his cell and he confronts Nicholas Anderson, and he demands

350
00:24:55.559 --> 00:25:00.119
Nicholas show him his papers. And that's the papers, y'all

351
00:25:00.160 --> 00:25:04.559
that you get in prison that basically specified why you're incarcerated.

352
00:25:04.599 --> 00:25:08.200
And everybody keeps their papers when they're in prison when

353
00:25:08.240 --> 00:25:12.720
you're an inmate. Now, Anderson, who I am quite sure,

354
00:25:13.440 --> 00:25:16.920
knew that Rocky had already killed a child molester who

355
00:25:16.960 --> 00:25:19.440
was also a sell maate in prison, He's like, fuck that,

356
00:25:20.240 --> 00:25:24.559
and he refused to show his papers to Rocky. Basically,

357
00:25:24.599 --> 00:25:26.759
he was like, hey, man, I told you I'm in

358
00:25:26.799 --> 00:25:29.440
prison for drugs, and if you don't believe me, then

359
00:25:29.480 --> 00:25:31.240
that's your problem. I don't want to have to prove

360
00:25:31.279 --> 00:25:35.759
this to you. But that pretty much tells Rocky everything

361
00:25:35.880 --> 00:25:38.799
he needs to know, and that is this guy's a

362
00:25:38.880 --> 00:25:42.160
child molester. So he did just what he did the

363
00:25:42.200 --> 00:25:46.960
first time. He starts plotting to kill Anderson, and it

364
00:25:47.000 --> 00:25:50.319
was very well thought out in this scenario as well.

365
00:25:50.480 --> 00:25:53.559
In this case, he would time the amount of time

366
00:25:53.839 --> 00:25:56.880
that it took the guards to walk down the tier.

367
00:25:57.400 --> 00:26:01.559
They would pass his cell about every twenty five minutes,

368
00:26:01.599 --> 00:26:04.359
so in his mind, this gives me twenty five minutes

369
00:26:04.599 --> 00:26:08.480
to kill this guy. He then gets his hands on

370
00:26:08.640 --> 00:26:13.200
a double A battery and he just grinds this double

371
00:26:13.240 --> 00:26:16.160
A battery into the concrete, and he grinds it and

372
00:26:16.279 --> 00:26:20.960
manages to flatten it so much that this thing is

373
00:26:21.079 --> 00:26:24.279
like a razor blade. When he's done with it, a

374
00:26:24.279 --> 00:26:28.720
few days later, just after a midnight stroll of the

375
00:26:28.759 --> 00:26:32.759
correctional officers past the cell, he knows, I got twenty

376
00:26:32.799 --> 00:26:36.599
five minutes here, this is the time, and Rocky tells

377
00:26:36.680 --> 00:26:40.559
Anderson that Anderson's got to go. He basically kind of

378
00:26:40.559 --> 00:26:42.880
gives him one last shot. Hey, you got to go

379
00:26:43.119 --> 00:26:47.519
right now. And Anderson says, fuck you, I ain't going nowhere.

380
00:26:47.559 --> 00:26:52.279
He just flat out refuses, so Rocky punches him right

381
00:26:52.279 --> 00:26:55.759
in the face and damn near knocks Anderson out cold.

382
00:26:56.359 --> 00:26:58.960
So when he's on the ground and he's trying to

383
00:26:59.000 --> 00:27:02.640
get his wits of him, Rocky takes some bed sheets

384
00:27:02.799 --> 00:27:07.240
and he literally hog ties Anderson and he starts to

385
00:27:07.400 --> 00:27:11.839
strangle him with these bed sheets. And imagine Anderson just

386
00:27:12.119 --> 00:27:16.240
flailing back and forth while Rocky's just squeezing harder with

387
00:27:16.319 --> 00:27:20.440
these bed sheets. And eventually, at some point, Anderson just

388
00:27:20.599 --> 00:27:24.960
quits moving all together. So Rocky makes an assumption that

389
00:27:25.079 --> 00:27:28.160
Anderson's dead, and he kind of lets the pressure off

390
00:27:28.440 --> 00:27:32.240
of those bed sheets. Anderson sinks to the floor, but

391
00:27:32.359 --> 00:27:35.279
Rocky notices, oh shit, this guy is still breathing. So

392
00:27:35.400 --> 00:27:38.640
at this point Rocky says, I'm tired of playing with

393
00:27:38.680 --> 00:27:42.759
this guy. He pulls out that battery shank and he

394
00:27:43.079 --> 00:27:48.839
slits Anderson's throat from ear to ear with this thing.

395
00:27:49.480 --> 00:27:53.599
Anderson just bleeds out right there in the cell well.

396
00:27:53.720 --> 00:27:57.720
An inmate in a neighboring cell notices all this blood

397
00:27:58.119 --> 00:28:01.680
going down the cell block, and this is a lot

398
00:28:01.720 --> 00:28:06.519
of blood, like a slaughtered pig, and he goes crazy

399
00:28:06.599 --> 00:28:09.519
and start screaming for the CEO. Somebody did and hear

400
00:28:09.599 --> 00:28:12.920
whatever he was yelling, and the CEOs run down that

401
00:28:13.079 --> 00:28:18.440
tear and they make that discovery of Nicholas Anderson. And

402
00:28:18.880 --> 00:28:22.400
there's no doubt who did it, right Rocky, because they're

403
00:28:22.480 --> 00:28:24.920
locked in a cell together. Nobody else could do it.

404
00:28:24.960 --> 00:28:27.519
There's just no doubt about it. So they pull him

405
00:28:27.559 --> 00:28:30.160
out of there, they bring him to wherever they brought

406
00:28:30.240 --> 00:28:34.559
him to question him, and again Rocky says, hell, yeah,

407
00:28:34.799 --> 00:28:38.519
I did it. He's a child molester. He doesn't deserve

408
00:28:38.599 --> 00:28:41.880
to be breathing oxygen with me. And I'm not going

409
00:28:41.920 --> 00:28:44.240
to be in a cell with the child molester and

410
00:28:44.319 --> 00:28:48.079
have guys come after me. I hate child molesters and

411
00:28:48.079 --> 00:28:50.440
that's why I killed him. Now, he does go to

412
00:28:50.559 --> 00:28:54.559
trial for both of these murders. The first trial. It

413
00:28:54.640 --> 00:28:59.160
took place in January of twenty nineteen, and in that

414
00:28:59.279 --> 00:29:03.640
trial he does receive the death penalty, but it was

415
00:29:03.720 --> 00:29:07.240
after a lot of begging and pleading. You see, Rocky

416
00:29:07.519 --> 00:29:11.920
wanted the death penalty. He did everything he could to

417
00:29:11.960 --> 00:29:14.680
get the death penalty. He would even write the judge

418
00:29:14.720 --> 00:29:19.200
and talk about how much he enjoyed killing these child molesters,

419
00:29:19.720 --> 00:29:21.599
and that Hey, I'm going to tell you right now,

420
00:29:21.599 --> 00:29:24.480
if you don't give me the death penalty the first

421
00:29:24.559 --> 00:29:26.319
chance I get, I'm going to kill another one. I'm

422
00:29:26.319 --> 00:29:29.000
going to keep killing him until you kill me. So

423
00:29:29.079 --> 00:29:32.759
eventually he gets his wish and that judge gives him

424
00:29:32.759 --> 00:29:35.960
the death penalty. In the trial for the second murder

425
00:29:36.000 --> 00:29:39.319
that he committed in prison, that one took place in November,

426
00:29:40.000 --> 00:29:44.480
same result, he gets another death penalty for that case.

427
00:29:44.720 --> 00:29:47.680
What has happened since then? Well, you know how it

428
00:29:47.880 --> 00:29:51.000
is with death penalty cases, and you can get the

429
00:29:51.039 --> 00:29:53.400
death penalty and sit in jail thirty years and still

430
00:29:53.440 --> 00:29:56.519
be alive. Rocky didn't want that. He wanted to be

431
00:29:56.640 --> 00:30:00.519
killed as soon as possible, and he would write letters

432
00:30:00.559 --> 00:30:04.640
to these judges essentially begging them, Hey, I want you

433
00:30:04.759 --> 00:30:07.519
to kill me as soon as possible. But that's not

434
00:30:07.599 --> 00:30:10.519
the way the system works, right, and Rocky he was

435
00:30:10.559 --> 00:30:14.240
getting frustrated about that. So where is he now? Well,

436
00:30:14.279 --> 00:30:17.839
he's dead, but not by the way of the state

437
00:30:17.880 --> 00:30:21.599
of Florida like you might think, but by his own hands.

438
00:30:22.480 --> 00:30:26.200
On June tenth of twenty twenty, at the age of

439
00:30:26.240 --> 00:30:32.359
forty two, while awaiting his execution and being very frustrated

440
00:30:32.400 --> 00:30:35.359
because in his mind it was taken too long. He

441
00:30:35.400 --> 00:30:39.279
hangs himself in his cell and thus didn't have to

442
00:30:39.279 --> 00:30:44.359
worry about getting the death penalty. But what a wild case.

443
00:30:44.839 --> 00:30:48.839
And look, you will find no one with any more

444
00:30:48.920 --> 00:30:53.440
resentment of child molesters than me. I don't think they

445
00:30:53.519 --> 00:30:57.319
deserve to be breathing oxygen either, in my opinion. But

446
00:30:57.400 --> 00:31:01.599
I'd be curious what you folks think. Is this visulane

447
00:31:01.880 --> 00:31:05.079
justice or is this guy a cold blooded murderer? Now

448
00:31:05.119 --> 00:31:08.119
I'll tell you he was a murtyrer long before he

449
00:31:08.240 --> 00:31:11.599
killed these child molesters. That's what he was in prison for,

450
00:31:11.880 --> 00:31:14.319
as I told you, And so he was not a

451
00:31:14.359 --> 00:31:17.480
good guy by any measure. I don't really know what

452
00:31:17.640 --> 00:31:21.160
motivated him to become what's known as the visual Ami

453
00:31:21.359 --> 00:31:24.240
killer of Florida. I don't know if maybe he felt like,

454
00:31:24.480 --> 00:31:27.480
I committed this murdyer early in my life, and I'm

455
00:31:27.519 --> 00:31:30.680
gonna be scoring points with God here by taking out

456
00:31:30.759 --> 00:31:34.359
these people and being this vigilanian speaking up for kids

457
00:31:34.359 --> 00:31:38.079
of child molestations. Some people think he was molested when

458
00:31:38.119 --> 00:31:40.599
he was a child and this was his way of

459
00:31:40.759 --> 00:31:44.240
giving payback to child molesters. I don't know, but I

460
00:31:44.319 --> 00:31:47.240
found it to be a very intriguing case and I'll

461
00:31:47.240 --> 00:31:50.200
tell you what. This guy's no little guy. You can

462
00:31:50.279 --> 00:31:52.759
check out the artwork and if you remember the Patreon,

463
00:31:52.839 --> 00:31:56.160
I'm going to upload some pictures of Rocky Beman and

464
00:31:56.240 --> 00:31:58.720
you can see for yourself. He looks like a mean sucker.

465
00:31:59.200 --> 00:32:01.160
He looks like some one that would kill your ass

466
00:32:01.160 --> 00:32:03.559
in prison quick. But there you have it. I thought

467
00:32:03.640 --> 00:32:06.000
that would be a good story to bring you this week,

468
00:32:06.079 --> 00:32:10.279
the visual Ami killer Rocky Beamon. Thank you so much

469
00:32:10.400 --> 00:32:13.039
for listening, and as I mentioned, check out the Patreon

470

471
00:32:17.000 --> 00:32:20.799
can get commercial, free, early release episodes and more. Once again,

472
00:32:20.920 --> 00:32:24.480

473
00:32:24.559 --> 00:32:27.160
so much to those people for your support of what

474
00:32:27.319 --> 00:32:29.799
I do here on Bloody and Goola. I'll bring you

475
00:32:29.839 --> 00:32:32.480
another case next week and I'll definitely be going to

476
00:32:32.559 --> 00:32:35.960
another state. But this one was just too intriguing to

477
00:32:36.039 --> 00:32:38.079
pass up, and I thought you'd like to hear it.

478
00:32:38.559 --> 00:32:41.599
Until next time for Bloody and Goola, I'm your host,

479
00:32:41.640 --> 00:33:00.799
Jim Chapman. Much love on the street Line.

480
00:33:02.240 --> 00:33:12.759
Shackle change. Oh, gruesome gird, it's calling my name. There

481
00:33:13.000 --> 00:33:19.880
is no mercy and its been a tentery juice as

482
00:33:20.119 --> 00:33:26.920
the Hillstream game rangler. Three. I'm here, be.

483
00:33:29.359 --> 00:33:31.200
By me to die.

484
00:33:32.839 --> 00:33:37.599
Inside these walls, inside the wild.

485
00:33:39.599 --> 00:33:43.400
And when more girls I know.

486
00:33:43.799 --> 00:34:10.719
It's a bloody anglebody angle, a bad
